MOTS-C
Energy Protocol

A clean MOTS-C protocol focused on steady energy support, mitochondrial signaling, dose comfort, and a structured rhythm that moves from daily assessment into a sustainable weekly cycle.

01

Core Protocol

500 mcg daily × 7 days

Initial Run

Start with 500 mcg per day for 7 straight days. This gives you a simple baseline period to notice changes in energy, stamina, recovery, appetite, mood, and overall tolerance.

Pause and evaluate

Assessment Window

After the first week, assess how you feel. Look for improvements in daily energy, workout output, mental drive, and whether the protocol feels smooth or overstimulating.

Increase to 1 mg if needed

Optional Increase

If 500 mcg feels comfortable but you want a higher charge of energy, increase to 1 mg. Doses can be titrated gradually until you find the level that feels best for you.

The protocol does not always stay every day, 7 days per week. The daily phase is used to find your comfortable dose. Once that dose is established, transition into a sustainable weekly schedule with planned rest days.

02

Cycle Schedule

500 mcg → 1 mg if needed

Find Your Dose

Use the first phase to identify the dose that feels effective but still clean, comfortable, and easy to tolerate.

5 days on / 2 days off

Maintain Weekly

Once you find your comfortable MOTS-C dose, sustain that dose 5 days per week and take a 2 day rest period each week.

Cycle for 8 weeks

Complete the Cycle

Continue the 5-on, 2-off rhythm for an 8 week cycle. Many people consider weeks 4 through 8 the period where the benefits are just beginning to build.

2 week rest period

Rest + Reassess

After the 8 week cycle, take 2 full weeks off. When the rest period ends, reassess how you feel and decide whether to restart the protocol or give yourself more rest time.

4–8

Weeks 4–8 matter. MOTS-C is not always an immediate “one day and done” type of protocol. The earlier weeks help establish tolerance and rhythm, while the deeper benefits may start becoming more noticeable between weeks 4 and 8 as the cycle has more time to build momentum.

03

Stacking Strategy

Synergistic Energy Stack

MOTS-C can be stacked with other energy-focused compounds such as 5-amino-1MQ and NAD+ for a synergistic effect. Keep the approach gradual: introduce one change at a time when possible, track how you respond, and titrate doses upward only until you find what feels comfortable.

MOTS-C

Mitochondrial signaling and energy-support focus.

5-Amino-1MQ

Often paired in body-composition and energy stacks.

NAD+

Commonly used for cellular energy and recovery support.

04

Helpful Protocol Notes

Track Your Response

Keep a simple log of dose, timing, energy, sleep quality, appetite, workouts, mood, and whether you are in the daily start phase, 5-day maintenance phase, or rest period.

+ Support the Basics

Hydration, protein intake, electrolytes, sleep, and movement all matter. Protocols tend to feel better when the foundation is already steady.

Timing Matters

Because MOTS-C is used for energy support, many people prefer earlier-day timing. Avoid late timing if you notice it affects your ability to wind down at night.

Comfort First

More is not automatically better. The goal is a clean, usable lift in energy without feeling pushed, wired, or uncomfortable. Rest periods are part of the protocol, not a setback.
